Deux
victoires d'organisations récentes à Puerto Rico démontrent que
l'objectif de l'AIMTA de gagner des droits de négociations pour
les travailleurs, dépasse largement les frontières du continent
Nord Américain. Par un vote au delà de tout espoir le jour de
la St-Valentin, par 29 travailleurs œuvrant dans la maintenance
d'hélicoptères pour la compagnie L3 Verteck à Aquadilla, Puerto
Rico est la toute récente victoire organisationnelle dans cette
île retirée des territoires du sud. L'élection est le résultat
d'une victoire organisationnelle un an plus tôt chez Dyncorp,
également Aquadilla. Les employés de Vertech, John Vigueras et
Bobby Taylor, ont réussis à unir les employés et méritent la reconnaissance
d'avoirs fait un travail remarquable à déclaré Bob Martinez GVP
des territoires du sud Je suis fière d'accueillir ces nouveaux

Helicopter Techs Vote IAM February 22, 2006 - Two recent organizing
victories in Puerto Rico prove the IAM‚s focus on winning bargaining
rights for workers goes far beyond the continental United States.
An overwhelming vote for the IAM on Valentine‚s Day by 29 workers
who repair and maintain helicopters for L3 Vertech in Aquadilla,
Puerto Rico is the latest IAM organizing win in this island
outpost of the Southern Territory. The election follows an IAM
organizing victory a year earlier at DynCorp, also in Aquadilla.
Vertech employees John Vigueras and Bobby Taylor were able to
keep the employees together and deserve credit for doing an
outstanding job said Southern Territory GVP Bob Martinez.I'm
extremely proud to welcome these new members into the IAM.
